SDB1
SDB1_LC_Z broadband injection

18:10 UTC (1min) 1e-4 V/rtHz in
18:11:30 - 18:16 UTC 8e-4 V/rtHz - figure 1, there seems to be much less coupling that a week ago for the same injection
18:16:30 (1min) UTC 28e-4 V/rtHZ
18:18 (3min) UTC 48e-4 V/rtHz

More analysis to follow tomorrow.

I had a look at DARM peaks which were excited by this latest white Z shaking of SDB1. It seems that essentially all the outstanding structures between 100Hz and 1kHz were excited, with the exception of a few (noted below). Structures up to 200Hz rised quite sharply, while structures above 200Hz rised as more blurred bumps which however correspond to the underlying quiet structure in DARM. These peaks also correspond roughly with the list of peaks that where identified with SDB1 angular injections back on June 16th.

  • 29.68 Hz (small in DARM, this is a mode of the bench) - Figure 1
  • 31.44 Hz (very small in DARM) - Figure 1
  • 94 Hz (tiny) - Figure 2
  • 156.4  - Figure 2
  • 164.5 (small) - Figure 2
  • 176.9  - Figure 2
  • 178.6 - Figure 2
  • 193.2 - Figure 2
  • 207.5 - Figure 3
  • all structures in the region between 250Hz and 600 Hz (Figure 3 and Figure 4) with the exception of peaks at 266Hz, 410Hz, 438Hz
  • the peak at 410Hz seems moved slightly in frequency between the two times (Figure 5). This seems to correspond to the peak which improved during some scattered light noise tests on SDB1 on July 5th.
  • also the large structure peaked at 757Hz was not excited during these Z injections (Figure 4) as it was not during angular injections.
