The goal of the shift was to compensate for the NI compensation plate (CP) cold lens, through the NI DASes.

The matching activity (56600) finished at 18.26 UTC.

Nicola repeated one last arm cavities scan and set the ITF in NI single bounce configuration at 19.19 UTC.

After checking the HWS DET illumination, the acquisition started at 19.22 UTC. 

At 19.34 UTC both NI DASes were switched ON at the following values (evaluated by simulations):

• NI DAS IN = 0.075 W

• NI DAS OUT = 1.8 W

to compensate for the NI CP cold lens measured in entry 55895.

The DASes thermal transient was not completed by the end of the shift (see fig. 1), so the ITF was left in NI single bounce (not to spoil the HWS DET measurement, ongoing) and the NI DASes was left ON, to thermalize during the night.

If it is possible, an arms cavities scan will be performed tomorrow morning, before maintenance starts.
