Last Friday we performed some beam jitter noise injections by injecting colored noise on the TX and TY degrees of freedom.
channel | amplitude | GPS start | duration |
TX | 0.001 | 1191342338 | 180 s |
TY | 0.003 | 1191342872 | 180 s |
For the projection we took a calm period at the GPS 1191277835. The transfer functions and the projections on DARM are reported in the plots 1 and 2.
It can be noticed that we are touching the sensitivity curve at 180, 380, 480 and 540 Hz. However, since the interferometer conditions were not at their best (BNS of 25 Mpc, as shown in the last plot), the measurement is not conclusive. This is due to the fact that we could have a more important coupling due to a bad alignment of the interferometer.
Therefore, we need to perform another injection when we'll reach a better sensitivity.
