On Thu 8th Feb, we were called by Paolo and Roberto that during their tuning of WI suspensions they find the F#3 fishing rod motor blocked.
Indeed, the motor GUI was displaying that the motor had reached a limit switch (the one labeled CW) and that the 2 limit switches (CW and CCW) were swapped.
So, Federico and I performed a swap of the limit switched acting at level of the Lemo connector plugged on the F#3 motor.
Stangely, the situation at level of the motor GUI remained unchanged (we would have expected that after the pin swapping the CW led went to green and the CCW led went to red).
Therefore, we restored the pinout of the Lemo connector, because the problem was not depending on it.
So, due to this inconsistence, we suspected of the motor SW and we called Giulio, after several trials and investigation, (he had to override some SW protection), we succeded in moving the motor and concluded that the problem were:
- at HW level on the specific channel (#8) where the motor is connected.
- at SW level, in general due to the INV led.
Finally, after about 1h spent on this troubleshooting, Paolo and Roberto could continue their tuning activity.
