Status of Payload works
On June 29th Flavio and Helios succeeded in detaching the three anchors still bonded on the ears of NI mirror object of the NI-payload assembly in clean room central. The result is encouraging as no significant damage has been induced by this critical and delicate maneuver.
The plan goes on with the works concerning WI CP replacement in its mount and magnet HCB on the WI spare mirror under preparation.

The schedule has been very slightly modified crosschecking the manpower assignments. However, so far we can keep the overall targets.

After the fibers of the new NI broke, one of the four anchors broke, taking a piece of the mirror edge with it (Fig.1), while the other three anchors remained glued. The remaining anchors were removed, and the mirror ears are in good condition (Fig.2 and Fig.3). To resolve the broken edge, the new anchor will be glued closer to the mirror flats.
In the meantime the NI payload has been cleaned and leveled and the mirror centered on the cradle (Fig.4).
Finally, an ear of the CP01 (new CP for WI) that had come off was reattached. The bond seems to have come out well but a stress/suspension test will need to be carried out in 7-10 days.
