The goal of the shift is the ETM RH tuning.
The shift began around 17.30 UTC due to the ITF recovery.
At 17:53 UTC, the ITF reached LN3, and at 18:34 UTC, we increased both ETM RHs by 200 mW, as follows:
NE RH: 4.7 W (13.20 V) → 4.9 W (13.50 V)
WE RH: 6.3 W (15.30 V) → 6.5 W (15.55 V)
During the initial phase of the thermal transient we noticed an increase of the cavities' power on B7 and B8 and a small improvement of the BNS range.
We observed an increase also in the contrast defect, maybe an action on the DAS actuator could be usefull to improve it.
The thermal transient of the ETM RHs is still ongoing, however in the meantime we tested the lock acquisition. So, at 21.04 UTC Andrea manually unlocked the ITF and, after two unlocks during the locking in DC readout we left the ITF in autorelock failsafe.
The ITF main signals during the shift are shown in fig.1.
