This morning we installed the new coil which will be used for doing the magnetic injections in the future. The coil is located against the East wall of the central building in the south-east corner, just above the high terrace. (see pictures)

The coil has a height of 4.2m and a width of 4.5m

There are 86 turns of copper wire with a wire diameter of approximately 2.26 mm (wire area = 4mm²)

We measured the resistence to be approximately 7 ohm. No resistence was found when surtcutting the wire to the cable tray frame, concluding there is no shortcut between the wire and the cable tray.

The coil will be tested the next days/weeks and more information on the characteristics and capabilities of the coil will be shared.
