DSP/Timing synchronization issue solved, ITF not recovered

Today a re-synchronization of the DSP cards w.r.t. the timing system was performed, in order to solve the issue about missed samples observed during ER13, then the ITF should have been relocked to let the SQZ shift begin; unfortunately, this was not the case:

  • after the restart, all the marionettes have been brought by hand in the previous position, based on the Metatron's SUS_*.ini configuration files;
  • however, also the X/Y position of the PR SAT had to be recovered looking at past data; the calibration described in #44092 was used, but the beam spots on B4_Cam1 still seemed a bit out of place; the spots on B1p_Cam were good, but maybe the SDB1 drift control was compensating;
  • one DSP card (BS) showed some corrupted data, and was redownloaded; the issue disappeared;
  • at least one card (BPC) was downloaded with an outdated configuration; this had the effect of completely misalign the input beam; this was hopefully recovered, but a thorough check should be made;
  • the overall pre-alignment of the ITF was not good, so we started to look for the beam in the North Arm; in the end some decent flashes were found, but it was not possible to get the power level on B7_DC sufficient to lock the North Arm; the good region for the flashes seemed quite narrow, maybe our re-alignment was not good but, given also the BPC and PR X/Y issue, this should be checked;
  • no attempts were done for the West Arm (besides restoring the nominal positions), as it should come as second.

In the end we gave up for the night, and left the ITF in DOWN.

All DSPs have been restarted except SR and BPC. Therefore the BPC card was not modified.
