Yesterday I placed the reduced-sensitivity magnetometers in NEB, WEB and MCB. Up to this morning the calibration (in the ADC cfg) of the magnetometer in the MCB was strill wrong: I changed it only few minutes ago. Also I changed the name of this probe, since the old name did not agree with the probe orientation. Now the name is:
ENV_MCB_MAG_N (instead of ENV_MCB_MAG_W). I also changed the configuration of EnvMoni (DMS), SpectroMoni and BRMSMon and restarted the processes.
As BRMSMon had been running smoothly for almost five months, the stop/start cycle done by Rosario this morning exposed some issue with the automated band-rms threshold update procedure, when some input channels have meaningless values -- which is currently the case as we are back in upgrade phase. So the process went in Fatal state one hour after the restart.
Therefore I updated the BRMSMon configuration by turning off those channels for the time being -- and by stopping sending data to OmCollect as this process is currently off -- and restarted BRMSMon. I'll work on the code to try to mitigate this issue and avoid that the process goes into fatal state in that case.
