Frequency and Etalon
The change of laser frequency can not only be determined using the RFC and OMC, but also using the etalon effect of the input mirrors. Attached plot shows the etalon effect before and after the change. To the determine the fringe shift, a sine is first fitted to the old data (4 parameters). The new data is then fitted while changing only the phase. The result is a shift of 0.46 FSR towards lower temperatures. Using a FSR of the mirrors of 1.07 GHz (c / 2 * 0.1 * 1.45), this yields a frequency shift of 492 MHz, consistent with the other results.
