Glitches in BS high-power DAC
This morning, we had many unlocks at step 7/8, which were usually related to some glitches on PRCL. First we suspected a bad tuning of the B2_3f phase, but later we found that it is related to spikes on the BS down-left coil. See fig 1 for an example of an unlock and fig 2 for a glitch that does not cause an unlock. This is an old problem known by Paolo, probably related to the high-power DAC (see Spikes on BS_RM_CoilDL in HighPower mode). Fig 3 shows that the glitches occur when the signal crosses a certain voltage level, so it might be a step in the response of the DAC.

In the past this didn't cause any unlocks. It could be that the spikes are now higher than before or that the ITF is now less robust than before. Anyhow, this DAC should be replaced.
