Print this reportSpikes on BS_RM_CoilDL in HighPower modeToday the ITF Alignment was back to the Science Mode configuration (all the loop closed with the standard filters), but the dark finge continued to be affected by large instabilities. An evident problem of accuracy was found at the level of BS angular control. The strange thing was that the behaviour was exactly the same in AutomatiAlignment mode or in Local Control mode. The problem disappeared switching the BS RM coil drivers to Low Noise, and appeared again going back to high power (fig 1). The cause has been found in some spikes on RM_CoilDL (fig 2), visible in the current monitor if one applies a low pass filter to the data (otherwise the spikes are covered by the high frequency noise).
