As the ITF was unlocked this morning, we used this time frame to review high rms values on the phase loops of NCal_WEN and NCal_WWN.
Using the external reloadConfig facility, we adjusted the gain of the corresponding ACL_FILTER_CH channels to improve loop efficiency
- ACL_FILTER_CH WEN_rotor_phase_corr "au" 1 20000 "WEN_rotor_phase_err" 3.0 "NCAL_rotor_phase_filter" : gain increased from 1 to 3
- ACL_FILTER_CH WWN_rotor_phase_corr "au" 1 20000 "WWN_rotor_phase_err" 2.5 "NCAL_rotor_phase_filter" : gain increased from 1 to 2.5
It's a workaround due to the fact that we forgot to measure the parameters of the polynomial used to build the command {NCAL} _motor_cmd_Hz_V during the installation phase. This will be done during the ITF shutdown
The attached plot show the trend of the WEN and WWN rotor phase error signal and its improvements
