A "new" chiller has been installed in TCS Chiller room. Is a chiller brought from Roma lab.
it is more or less the same as the previous one, the most significant difference is that the level is lower, so the refill must be done at the dipstick MIN mark (pict attached).
Now the system is in standard state but we are monitoring it in order to be sure that everithing is working properly.
This morning from 08:30 to13:20 UTC we replaced the TCS chiller provided by Roma group with the repaired one. We did several tests and we left the system in standard state.
All three chillers pumps has been set with the medium speed. For the new refill level see the pict attched.
This morning I found the BCK chiller in operation activated by the guardian due to a low flux of WI chiller. We decided to set WI (and BCK) speed pump to high mode. Guardian reactivated. Now we are in a safe condition.
We decided to leave the system in this configuration for the next days. If necessary we will come back in the standard configuration (medium speed pumps) during the next maintenance, retuning the flux thresholds in the logic of the guardian.
