Re-analysis of HWS-DET automatic measurement on March 21st

I used the old code also on these data (59365) to generate new wavefronts taking frame set #19 as reference (when the ITF unlocks and the first intensity drop occurs). Again, the new wavefronts are saved in /data/tcs/buffer/test/HWS-RC/DET/20230321T2325/WaveNew/.

Fig. 1 shows a comparison between the new data (left) and the online one (right). The shape looks similar, but the amplitude is very different. Furthermore, another difference is put in evidence by evaluating the curvature as a function of time: in the online data there is no sign of transient and of the switching on of the CH. Fig. 2 shows the curvature evaluated from the new WFs (left) and from the original ones (right).

Then, I evaluated the position and curvature of the CH. To do this, I set the reference on frames #118 and re-run the code. WFs are saved in the same folder, the filename ending with “_CH”. Fig. 3 shows a WF with the CH on and fig. 3 the trend of the CH curvature. Finally, fig. 4 shows a comparison between the barycenter coordinates of the YAG (left) and of the CH (right).

Preliminary conclusions:

  • The CH curvature seems stronger than that of the YAG by about 2e-6 1/m, thus NI CH and DAS powers should be decreased a bit.
  • YAG and CH are rather well aligned in the horizontal direction, while in the vertical one there is a difference of about 70 pixel = [70]*12.28/1024)*13.5 = 11 mm

Also the other automatic measurement must be re-analyzed to confirm these numbers.
