Today shifts were devoted to CHRoCC curvature calibration.
At 7.40 UTC the ITF was set in single bounce configuration and, after checking the HWS INJ illumination, we started HWS INJ acquisition at 7.48 UTC.
At 8.04 UTC the CHRoCC was turned ON at 0.7 V.
After around 4 hours, the curvature induced by the CHRoCC reached the steady state (see fig. 1).
So we proceed in the same way for other two CHRoCC values:
-
At 12.59 UTC CHRoCC change 0.7 V → 0.9 V
-
At 16.20 UTC CHRoCC change: 0.9 V → 1.1V
In fig. 2 and 3 the corresponding curvature steady states are shown.
The results of this curvature calibration is resumed in the following table:
| CHRoCC | Curvature at steady state | Fit adjusted R-square |
| 0.7 V | (2.19 +- 0.03) e-5 1/m | 0.978 |
| 0.9 V | (3.39 +- 0.03) e-5 1/m | 0.9496 |
| 1.1 V | (4.11 +- 0.04) e-5 1/m | 0.8733 |
At 20.30 UTC CHRoCC has been switched off and the ITF left locked.
