Today we installed the 1064 nm fiber from the patch panel WEB_CEB (port 13) to the ALS rack. We measured around 3 mW at the output of this fiber, which has been plugged at the input of the electronic box (see attached picture). With the SOA current set to 70 mA we have 5 mW at its output. Then we sent a DC of 2.2 V with the DAC to have some light diffracted in the 1st order of the fibered AOM and we closed the PSTAB around a setpoint of 1.4 mW. We seeded the 2W amplifier with these 1.4 mW and we generate the green. We had to increase the oven temperature to 118 C to have roughly the same amount of 532 nm power as yesterday (probably due to thermal effects in the SHG box).
We left the system running but it stopped to work at 16h30 UTC after a drift of the IR power (2nd plot). On monday we'll continue to work on it.
