This afternoon I made a standard noise injection, only on DARM and MICH; GPSs are stored in /virgoData/NoiseInjections/LSC/LSC_injection-1217341578.txt
. The purpose was to re-compute Alpha, which was not yet done with 25 W (which is now 23.5 W actually).
In Figure 1 there is the the new computed subtraction and the old measured one; in Figure 2 we can see a very good reduction of the MICH-to-DARM coherence, but only a very small improvement on DARM itself, possibly meaning that despite the sub-par subtraction DARM was not limited by MICH and/or the non-linear part of their coupling is now more relevant than in the past.
A second set of noise injections has been done (GPSs are stored in /virgoData/NoiseInjections/LSC/LSC_injection-1217345365.txt
) and the resulting longitudinal noise budget is in Figure 3. The single loop measurements are in Figures 4 to 6.
