Update on the SNEB air box leaks

SNEB is under vacuum since 26 days. The set of plots presented in the entry 34605 have been redone with this longest history to assesse the leaks of the various air boxes.

The first plots is showing the variation of the bench temperature, correlated to the building temperature and power used, which are changing depending on the status of the picomotors for instance. It is interesting to notice the increase of 1.5°C of the building temperature over this period, especially over the last days. This might be a problem for mSAS.

Looking at these plots, the status of the leaks is the following, the error is just a guess looking at the dispersion of the data:

Air box lestimated leak (mbar/year)
bench 0 ± 7
PD1 6 ± 7
PD2 8 ± 7
QPD1 30 ± 15
QPD2 70 ± 15
camera 1 14 ± 7

These results are compatible with the value quoted in 34605  which had an error of 36 mbar/year and a hint of loak of 72 mbar/year for QPD1.

A 5 to 10 % loss of air is probably not an issue, and therefore we are probably safe for about a year for the worse case (QPD2).
