Angular control noise budget (OpLev)
We have estimated the residual motion of the arm mirrors due to the angular controls using optical levers.
In order to tune the contribution of the angular correction on the DARM, we have matched the actual amplitude of the drift control lines used in the automatic alignment.
In the figure we can see also the nominal displacement sensitivity for both steel and fused silica suspensions;
we notice that:

-at the moment the angular noise budget is well below DARM; just below 10 Hz (almost 6-8 Hz) it gets closer to DARM (due to known effects related to cryotraps on the NARM)
- above 10 Hz pitch is 50 times noisier than yaw. Moreover, pitch contribution is above the nominal sensitivity expected for O2 ( it should be improved ).
