Loudspeaker PDU issue fixed at CEB DET Terrace

We noticed that the CEB acoustic injection was not performed during the last automated injections. The colored noise was correctly sent to the DAC, but the loudspeaker did not emit any sound (see Fig. 1).
The issue was traced back to the PDU: the loudspeaker was not powered on during the injection. We found the VPM process Loudspeaker_PDU in grey status, and even after a reload, its status remained unchanged.
To fix the issue, we switched off and unplugged the PDU in the CEB DET terrace. After reconnecting, the process turned green again (see Fig 2). We then tested the system by injecting a 300 Hz line and the loudspeaker is now working properly.

The PDU issue at the Central Building was believed to be fixed, but the CEB acoustic injection performed yesterday did not work.
The Metatron node (and ENVnoise) showed that the ON/OFF command cm_send(smart_pdu, ON/OF state , 1) for socket 1, as implemented in the *.py injection script, is not functioning, unlike what happens at the terminal buildings, where remote socket control works as expected. The issue likely appeared to be resolved because we had manually powered ON the loudspeaker via the VPM interface.

We will investigate and fix this bug. In the meantime, socket 1 will be kept OFF.
As a temporary workaround, to power the loudspeaker, socket 1 of the Loudspeaker_PDU must be manually switched ON/OFF via the VPM interface before/after starting/ending the injection.

Thanks to Franco's help, we found a silly bug in the code: the condition in an if statement was checking for a string that didn’t exactly match the actual socket label, so the command to switch the socket ON/OFF was never executed. The bug has now been fixed.
