Problem on BS Motor Driver

One of the BS motor drivers is unreachable on the network, while the device is on. Using a different network cable did not fix the issue. Further checks will be done tomorrow during maintenance.

This morning we tried to connect to BS LS Motor Driver (IP: using an USB cable, but it was not possible read the configuration. The same operation was possibile connecting to a different Motor Driver. We think it's necessary do an hardware reset of the driver, hoping this simple operation will fix the problem.

This morning we unplugged and opened the BS bottom stage motor driver in order to reset it. Unfortunately the device remained unreachable over the network and the internal ERROR LED was ON. For these reasons it has been removed from the crate for further tests in the lab. The driver will be likely replaced next maintenance.

This morning during maintenance the motor driver provided by Padova-Trento INFN group has been installed at BS. The driver has been configured and tested successfully both on lab and after installation.
