Squeezer Out Beam Characterization
Yesterday, Monday 19th Feb, we characterized again the squeezer out beam with two different beam profilers to be sure to avoid calibration errors.
We used the THORLABS Scanning Slit BP and the OPHIR Spiricon Camera BP.
The obtained results are:


THORLABS with Sensor at 0 ° (fig. 1):

wox = 0.434 +/- .001 mm
woy = 0.391 +/- .004 mm
zox= 1150 +/- 20 mm
zoy= 1064+/- 6 mm

THORLABS with Sensor at 45 ° (fig. 2):

wox = 0.41 +/- .01 mm
woy = 0.42 +/- .01 mm
zox= 1108 +/-9 mm
zoy= 1140+/- 20 mm

THORLABS with Sensor at -45 °(fig. 3):

wox = 0.41 +/- .01 mm
woy = 0.42 +/- .01 mm
zox= 1101 +/-7 mm
zoy= 1130 +/- 30 mm


SPIRICON (fig. 4):

wox= 0.49 +/- 0.02 mm
woy= 0.42 +/- 0.01 mm
zox = 1240 +/- 30 mm
zoy = 1100 +/- 20 mm


The beam seems to be not a perfect Gaussian, as can be observed in pictures of figures 5 and 6 taken with the SPIRICON camera.
